the Wedding Programs 
if everybody took a rest this holidays, i did the opposite..i have back aches..shaking hands..blisters and little burns..sleeps at midnight..but i dont want to think im tired..i can never get tired..not at this time that i have some more things to do..:) enough of my whining..let's talk about the title..


it took us 2 days to finish everything..with ribbons and all..and i think i can't do it again to anyone..but im thinking maybe i can do the sacrifice to beng..huhuhu..it was soooooo tiring..the cutting took us 1 whole day..then there was punchings and more punching..then tying the ribbons..waaaaaahhhh..i felt like vomitting after..but all the hard work paid off..we were quite happy with the results..

border punch, one-hole puncher, rotary personal trimmer, ribbons, scissors and dingdong dantes bench mag as placing mat (you got your revenge karylle, i cut him so many times..hehehe)

i went into full blast cutting like their is no tomorrow..

meet Amara Carleona Asuncion

she is such a happy soul..she chatters non-stop..she is one of our students at Children's Ministry..she used to wander to our class when her older brother Tim was still our student and its hard to bring her back to her own class because she will charm you so you will not send her back..she likes dancing and singing and sometimes when she is being so makulit that you want to get angry with her..she will bat her eyelashes and stare at you with those puppy look eyes and you forgot everything..she is cute..:) check her out..

the Merry Christmas 2009

Its white Christmas for us this year and what makes it extra special is that we have 2 soon to be additional members in the family..

This is also the last Christmas that we will be single.. :)

2 more months to go!!!

i can't believe how time flies really fast..we have two more months to prepare..it pays to be early..:) you can take your sweet time..but still everything will have to be on schedule..

there are many advantages in long preparation..you can afford to have many choices for suppliers and still have time to compare and decide..you can scout for cheaper supplies..there will be no hurry-up issues so you can haggle for discounts..you can do many do-it-yourself stuffs that will lesser your cost to some minor details and you can put your personal touch in everything..and that will make it more memorable to you and the visitors :)

im no wedding guru..im not expecting our wedding to be perfect but im aiming to make it perfect so if its only 98% on actual day..i will be super thankful still.. :)

the PreNup Pictorial

who says 13 is an unlucky number? for us it's not..
we had our pre-nuptial pictorial last december 13 in a perfect sunny day and everything went on smoothly..well just some ants in our picnic baon but that's after we've already eaten..nothing major really..

we were up before 6 am..i took a bath and cooked our baon then went to Hanz parlor to have my make up done by 7:30..in my time table my make-up will just be for 30 mins..but i was wrong..Hanz took the time to straighten my hair! you know me well people..im miss curly tops..so that took us 1 and half hour..im done by 9:00..ryan is in the house waiting for me, had already watched an entire cd of the beegees concert..courtesy of mama of course..so were off past 9 and took a cab to la mesa eco park..and thank you Daddy God..no traffic at all..our taxi was too fast too furius too..its ryan's turn to be nervous where im miss relax, i just want to be in ecopark in like 20 mins. and i don't care if we are going too fast already..you see.. the sun is needed if you want pretty pictures..

so there we were..we waited for a couple of minutes for gian and fidgi and the kiddos..and soon after we changed into our first set of clothes..the camera's started clicking..we were conscious at first..it's our first time you know..hehehe..i thought posing will just be chicken to us but nahh..its a serious thing..hirap pala maging model..we had our props..like the picnic basket..the picnic mat.."sesell" my teddy bear..the coke sakto..and our hats and the pink flower..im not ready no? hehehe..

have you ever had a vision..like you want some things to happen like exactly how you envision it to be.. most of the time we know its not gonna happen that way..close lang to it..but i can say our prenup is more than what i envision it..parang what i had in mind is just good and what had happened is excellent..something like that..its more than what we were expecting..the weather..the sun..the place..especially the two super talented people plus 2 equally talented and patient boys with them..they are just plain perfect..i love how they work..how they treat us..mabait and so professional.. :) you will just love to follow everything they say and everything they want you to do..they didn't even get tired..we were..

the Wedding Photo & Video..

i just accidentally found out about them just this week..it was Monday and we paid our deposit and booked them today.. :) they are definitely an answered prayer..ryan & i were trying to convince ourselves that what we decided to have first is okey already..we will have different suppliers for photo & video..it sounds like "stress" i know..so we prayed to find the perfect people for our photo and video..

meet Sir Gian & Ms. Fidgi Cayetano..they are husband & wife tandem..they own the business and they are also the photographers of the wedding..one sign that we always look in people that we are going to work with is that they are mabait..nice & cool they are indeed.. :) yipee! aside from the fact that they are young and have fresh ideas, they are supportive of my ideas to have a theme..clap!clap!

but more so..we like their work..the quality of pictures..the editing, the personal touch that they put in every event that they are shooting..the finished products..and the most important thing is that we can afford them without sacrificing the quality of the photos. :)

everything in our wedding is a product of prayer..sometimes when things don't work out i tend to get really anxious that i start twirling my hair and get discouraged..but i always trust Daddy God..like a child holding her father's hand and confident that everything will be ok..si Papa/Daddy/Tatay na bahala..and that's when we found Ms. Gina Napolis..to Daddy God be the Glory!

this is Ms. Gina, she is super nice..so easy to talk to and listens to your preferences..

ryan was so makulit before our scheduled food tasting and ms. gina never got impatient..it was our sign that this is our answered prayer.. :)

they are two of the coolest pipol i know..maybe because we have the same set of minds..hehehe..i can't exactly recall when or how we became close but i can remember the times they stood behind us..providing us shoulders and company when we needed it most..its like me and ryan in "ctrl D" as in doubled..we are so much alike in many ways as couples..and mind you..they are always present in every memorable days of our lives..dates..dating(official)..engagement..and of course our wedding... :)

the 2nd month of engagement..

its been 2 months already! time flies so fast..
here's our list of achievements for the 2nd month..

1. Paid the ceremony and reception venue.
2. Paid the reservation for the caterer.
3. Bought my gowns tela and had it sewn, will be ready by december.
4. Grooms suit and Papa's barong - napatahi na rin.(i dont know pano i-english yan eh) :P
5. Bridesmaid's and flower girls dresses - tinatahi na rin. :)
6. Our invitation is now being manufactured (hehehe)..basta ginagawa na.
7. Finished our Program designs.
8. Finished our escort card designs.
9. Finished our Table Numbers design.
10. Bought my ceremony and reception shoes.

next round of counselling will be on Sunday. :)

the Maid of Honor I..

she is no other than..Charesa Juliane.. :)

she is my only sister..there's this long ago story that im the one who named her bing/beng when she was born and im still a year old..we have this love/hate relationship..but above everything else, we are family..we are playmates, buddies, enemies, supporters of each other, fans.. :) we have crazy moments but we love each other.. :)

the Maid of Honor II..

everybody meet.. Joy Bascuguin.. :)

Joy and I have known each other from the first time she set her foot at church some 8 years ago and the rest is history..if there's one person who had seen me (aside from family) from having the shortest to the longest hair, from my largest to the thinnest.. it's her..we had so many shared unforgettable moments..ryan became her bestfriend along the way and her boyfriend is ryan's bestfriend too.. :) now you know the connection..

Our loyalty to each other is unquestionable..if there's one person who would stick through good and bad for me..it's Joy.. :)

the female honor attendants..

we know they are quite unusual..not the pips ha..but their role in the big day..they are part of the entourage..they will be assisting the male principal sponsors from walking down the aisle (like escort them Ü) to ushering them to the reception venue..im excited to see them all in their hot pink gowns! bongga!

each one of them became a part of our lives..friends..bestfriends..relatives..and all of them are still single..:-)
